- Received Bronze Medal by Maru Paryavan Adhyatmic Society in 1993.
- Honored by different Paryavaran Societies in the field of Forestry Research.
- Received the “Nobel Peace Prize for 2007 award” as one of the contributor to United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which is joint winner of the award, Citation was received From The Prime Minister, Government of India, on 26th November 2007.
